On the night of 12-02-2023, a case under Section 379 IPC No. 0025/2023 has been registered against the Ashoka Leyland vehicle parked on the road next to his house belonging to Vasi Srikanth of Javagatte village under Shiralakoppa police station.
Mr Mithun Kumar G.K, IPS, Hon. Superintendent of Police, Shimoga District and Mr Anil Kumar Bhumardy, Additional Superintendent of Police, Shimoga District under the guidance of Mr Sivananda Madarakandi, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shikaripura and Mr Rudresh, Circle Inspector of Police, Shikaripura City circle, for investigation of the case. Under the supervision of Mr Manjunath S Kuri, PSI Shiralakoppa, an investigation team consisting of HC Santosh Kumar, Bangarappa, Shivamurthy, Kumar Nayka, Indresh, Gururaj, Vijay Kumar and CPC Salman Khan Haji, Karthik, Nagaraj, Harish, Veerabhadrappa, Kantesh will be formed.
On 06-03-2023, the investigation team seized the accused Shaheed @ Shaheed Ahmed, 24 years old, Asharya Barangay, Soraba Town, and the estimated value of the accused was related to 02 cases of Shiralakoppa Police Station and 02 cases of Old Hubli Police Station, totalling 04 cases of vehicle theft. 4,99,000/- 01 Ashoka Li Land vehicle and 03 two-wheelers have been suspended.
