Shivamogga: The youth who shouted Azaan in front of the District Collector’s office was summoned to the Jayanagar Police Station and released on bail.
A young man from Ragigudda, Shimoga called Mouseen shouted Azaan during the protest against Eshwarappa’s statement on Friday and this video went viral.
He was called to the Jayanagar police station and filed a complaint as a precautionary measure and was released on bail.
Speaking about this, lawyer Nayaz Ahmed Khan said in a public place that the young man got emotional. He was called and told to be wise. Peace and tranquility should prevail in Shimoga.
Eshwarappa should not have taken an oath in the legislative assembly without looking at caste religion and should not have spoken to hurt people of other religions. He said that the young man of Ragigudda has also been told to be wise.
