Illegal sale of narcotic drugs, arrested – Press Release

Date:- 13-03-2023 Mr Sitaram, Police Inspector Sagar Town Police Station on receiving definite information that a person from Mangalore was taking some narcotic substance, coming to Sagar by bus and giving it to the persons in the Swift Desire car parked at Analekoppa ginger field, Mr Sitaram, Police Inspector Sagar Town Police Station, Sri Shivprasad Deputy Commissioner of Excise, Sagar Sub-Division and a team of police personnel went near the ginger field at Analekoppa under Sagar Town Police Station and raided, in a Swift Desire car 1) Srujan S Shetty, 20 years, Todar Village Mangalore, 2) Mohd. Samman@Salman, 24 years, Analekoppa, Sagar Town and 3) Mohammad Yaseef, 25 years, Sridhar Nagar Sagar Town were seized from the accused and Kings Heena 25 Grams containing white coloured narcotic powder weighing 1.06 grams, estimated value Rs.10,000/- bottle and empty pill sheet of Zydus Fortiza, 4 mobile phones, 2 SIM cards, Rs 200/- in cash. And after suspending the Swift Desire car used for the act, a case has been registered against the accused under Section 8(c),22(A),27(a),29,30 of the NDPS Act and an investigation has been conducted against the accused.
