Today, 08-03-2023, During the celebration of Holi in Shimoga city, some youths modified the silencer pipes of their two-wheelers in such a way as to make a lot of noise, creating a loud noise and disturbing the public. Under the leadership, a team of officers and staff of Shimoga East Traffic Police Station and Shimoga West Traffic Police Station conducted an operation and seized a total of 10 two-wheelers fitted with defective silencers, fined them under the IMV Act, seized the defective silencer pipes and took legal action.
