CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) Portal has been developed in order to facilitate quick detection and return of mobile phones to the public in case of theft/robbery/extortion/loss of the public, Police Inspector Cyber Crime Police Station and a team of staff through the CEIR Portal. A total of 03 mobile phones have been detected.
Dated this: 08-03-2023 The mobiles found in the presence of Mr Mithun Kumar GK IPS, Hon’ble Superintendent of Police, Shimoga District, were returned to the owners Hanumanta Rao, Mithun and Srinidhi.
In case of theft/robbery/extortion/loss of mobile phones, the public is requested to log on to CEIR Portal and file a complaint.
