March 13: National Deworming Program in Shivamogga

Shivamogga: March 09, A national deworming program has been conducted across the district from March 13 to 25, and the inaugural ceremony will be held on March 13 at 10.30 am at Government Senior Primary School, Gurupura.
Deworming Tablets are distributed to all children between 01 to 19 years in the district in Anganwadis, Schools and Undergraduate Colleges, ITI Colleges, Technical Colleges (Diploma, BE), Nursing Colleges, First B.A. It will be provided free of charge in colleges, medical colleges and ayurvedic colleges. Also, Albendazole () tablets will be distributed free of charge to the school leavers of the said age group in the concerned Anganwadis. District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr Rajesh Suragihalli have requested that the parents of all children between 1 to 19 years of age should use it.
