Board exams for Class 5 and 8 students, Govt. orders

Shivamogga: In the year 2022-23, the evaluation will be conducted for the students of class 5 and 8 in all schools of the state curriculum from Date: 27-03-2023 to 01-04-2023.
No student will be failed in the assessment of class 5 and 8, all students will be passed to the next class. Assessment of class 5 and 8 is not an annual examination. This is just an assessment.
Through this assessment, the students and parents are informed that the purpose of this assessment is to know the learning quality, learning deficiency, learning progress of the students and to initiate an educational program to overcome the learning deficiency for the next academic year.
The result of this evaluation will be communicated only to the concerned parents and students. Thereby the confidentiality of the result will be maintained. The Deputy Director (Development) and the Principal of the District Education and Training Institute said that questions have been prepared for evaluation based on the textbook.
